EVENT DETAILS
LOCATION: Lake Lawn Resort on Highway 50, 2400 East Geneva Street,
Delavan, Wisconsin. Phone: 262-728-7900.
ELIGIBILITY:
Participants under 18 years of age need the written consent of a parent.
The right to accept or reject any entry is reserved.
ACCOMMODATIONS: There
is a block of rooms reserved at Lake Lawn Resort at a discounted rate
for race participants. There is also a number of other motels in
the area.
PARKING: There is plenty of parking in the lots
at Lake Lawn Resort.
PACKET PICKUP: Pickup will be held
at Lake Lawn Resort on Friday Evening and Saturday morning. See
the Schedule for details.
DINNER:
There is a Dining Room located at Lake Lawn Resort.
STARTING AREA: East side of Lake Lawn Resort near a large tent
on the shore of Delavan Lake.
AID STATIONS: There will be an aid station serving water and
sports drinks that you will pass during the looped run course (approximately every 3
miles). Water will also be available in the transition area. There
are no aid stations on the bike course.
AWARDS:
Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers
overall as well as the top three male and female finishers in each age
division. The ceremony will take place in the tent for all races.
SUPPORT: Thank you to all of the Lake Geneva and Delavan area
civic organizations and volunteers who are committed to making your race a safe
and memorable experience and to the dedicated staff of Lake Geneva Extreme
Sports. We are always looking for new volunteer groups, so please contact
the race director if you are interested.
FINISH MEDALS
- All finishers will receive a medal.
COURSES:
Swim Course:
Olympic- A .9 mile swim in picturesque Lake Delavan.
Sprint- A .5 mile swim in picturesque Lake Delavan.
SuperSprint - A .25 mile swim in picturesque Lake Delavan.
Projected water temperature: 70oF. Wetsuits recommended.
Bike Course:
Olympic- A 25 mile loop course around Delavan Lake.
Sprint- A 12 mile loop course around Delavan Lake.
SuperSprint - A 12 mile loop course around Delavan Lake.
Run Course:
Olympic- A 6.2 mile loop course on the grounds of Lake Lawn Resort.
Sprint- A 3.1 mile loop course on the grounds of Lake Lawn Resort.
SuperSprint - A 1 mile loop course on the grounds of Lake Lawn Resort.
Adventure Race - Consists of a 12 mile Kayak course on the
Delavan Lake and a 3.1 mile run using the Olympic triathlon run course.
