PHOTOGRAPHY will be positioned along the course and at the finish
snapping away. Commemorative shots will be available for purchase on
line shortly after the race. Please check our website.
CHIP TIMING
– the timing chip must be removed after you cross the finish line. You
will be fined $30 if your chip is not returned.
DIVISIONS:
Age groups are Male and Female under 18; 18-24; 25-29;
30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; and 70+.
RACE
RESULTS will be available on our website shortly after the finish of the race.

CHARITIES -
Lake Geneva Extreme Sports contributes thousands of dollars to over
15 local charities annually.
AMENITIES - Participants receive a race packet, shirt, swim cap, finish medal,
post race refreshments and other goodies.
ADVENTURE RACE SERIES
Lake Geneva Extreme Adventure Race Series will be held in 2009
and will consist of two different races held in Lake Geneva, and Delavan, Wisconsin. The races will be held in conjunction with the Lake Geneva Marathon,
and the Delavan Lake Triathlon Series. The series is open to individuals and two member teams
consisting of one runner and one kayaker.
The Lake Geneva Extreme Adventure Race will consist of a brutal cross-country race along the north shore of Lake Geneva beginning in downtown Library Park. The shore path utilized for the cross-country race is the original path established by Chief Big Foot and the Potawatomi Indian tribe who lived on the western shore of Lake Geneva in the 1800's. The foot race (8 mile) will be followed by a demanding and cold kayak race
(12 mile) along the shores of Lake Geneva. The adventure race will be held in conjunction with the annual Lake Geneva Marathon series and is designed to challenge experienced and beginning adventure racers alike.
The second adventure race in the series will be held June 6, 2009
at the Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, Wisconsin, which is located seven miles west of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The race will consist of a kayak race around Delavan Lake, (13 miles) followed by a 5k run at the
Lake Lawn Resort facility. The race will be held along with the Delavan Lake Triathlon series.
Awards will be presented at all races for individuals and teams.

Geneva Marathon and Associated Races - May 9, 2009 :
This
series consists of a USAT&F certified marathon, marathon walk, marathon
relay, 22 mile Euro cross-country race on the famous Lake Geneva Lake Path, Half
marathon, 10k, 5k, and a run/kayak adventure race.
Lake Michigan Triathlon,
Duathlon and Road Race Series - July 11, 2009
: The Lake Michigan Triathlon Series is held in the historic lakeside town of Kenosha, WI. Specifically, the Lake Michigan Triathlon Series begins and ends on the beautiful grounds of Simmons Island Beach located in the redeveloped downtown Kenosha area just north of the city of Kenosha marina.
This event includes Olympic and Sprint distance triathlons, and Duathlon,
Half Marathon, 10k and 5k road races.
